The Bible
As the Word of the living God, immutable, steadfast and unchangeable, as its Author, Jehovah God. That it was written by holy men of God as they were moved and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:19–21; John 5:39
The tenets of faith, fundamental beliefs and doctrines of Total Gospel Bible Church. They shape every sermon, every prayer and every ministry among us.
We believe in:
As the Word of the living God, immutable, steadfast and unchangeable, as its Author, Jehovah God. That it was written by holy men of God as they were moved and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:19–21; John 5:39
There is one true living God, maker of the heavens and earth, but manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal in divine perfection, executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. It must be clear that the subject of the Trinity, or the Godhead, is a mystery to man.
Man is a created being, created in the image and likeness of God, before whom he walked in holiness and purity. But by voluntary disobedience and transgression, he fell from the Eden of purity and innocence into the depths of depravity and iniquity. In consequence, mankind became sinners, sold to Satan's nature and positively inclined to evil, guilty and without excuse, deserving the condemnation of a just and holy God. Salvation therefore is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God.
Genesis 1:26–27, 3:15; Romans 3:23, 5:8; Ephesians 2:8
We believe that the change which takes place in the heart and life at conversion is a very real one; that the sinner is then born again in such a glorious and transforming manner that old things are passed away and all things become new, in so much that the things once most desired are now abhorred, while the things once abhorred are now held most dear. There are new desires, aspirations, interests and perspectives of life, time and eternity. This new birth, when experienced, produces eternal life.
John 3:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17, 7:10; Ephesians 4:22–25; John 5:12
We believe that without holiness, no man shall see the Lord; that the doctrine of sanctification is a definite, yet progressive, work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ's return.
Hebrews 12:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12–14; 1 Corinthians 1:30
We believe in baptism in water by immersion as a direct commandment of our Lord, and that it is an outward manifestation of identification with Jesus and His death and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36–39

Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:48–49; Acts 1:8, 2:1–4; John 14:16–17
We believe that the age of miracles has not passed; that God still intervenes in the affairs of men by supernatural manifestations that terminate the work or ministry of Satan in human lives.

That God desires us to live in sound health, and can heal us supernaturally when we are sick, through our faith in His Word, the laying on of hands or anointing with oil.

That Hell is a place of outer darkness, torture and deepest sorrow for the sinners, or the condemned.
Matthew 13:41–42; Revelation 20:10, 15, 14:10–11
